Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and returned. Senate bill regulating the powers and duties of County Com- missioners of Harford county. Endorsed, "Amended and passed by yeas and nays." On motion of Mr. Stephenson, The Senate concurred in the House amendments, and Said bill was then passed by yeas and nays, as follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Stephenson, Blake, Spates, Carroll, Sellman, Crawford, Spencer, Davis, Steiner, Earle, Timmons, Fields, Tuck, Henry, Wilson, Longwell, Williams—19. Miller, NEGATIVE—None. On motion, by Mr. Tuck, Leave was granted to Messrs. Tuck, Earle and Spencer, to report a bill entitled an Act granting to the United States a further addition to the site of the Naval Academy at Annapo- lis, and ceding jurisdiction over the same. On motion, by Mr. Crawford, Leave was granted to Messrs. Crawford, Stephenson and Claggett to introduce a bill to legalize a bequest from James F. Williams, Wicomico county, deceased, to the Protestant Episcopal Church of Salisbury, in said county. |
