The Senate bill, entitled an Act to enable the qualified voters of any ward or election district in this State to de- termine by ballot whether drinking houses may or not be licensed within such ward or election district, Being on its second reading, On motion by Mr. Denson, Was referred to the Committee on Finance. The Senate bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 82, of Ar- ticle X., of the Code of Public Local Laws of Dorchester county, title "Church Creek," defining the limits of said town, and to re-enact the same with amendments, Was read the third time and passed by yeas' and nays, as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Stephenson, Blake, Spares, Crawford, Sellman, Earle, Spencer, Fields, Steiner, Henry, Tuck, Longwell, Wilson, Miller, Williams—16. NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. The Senate bill, entitled an Act to pay C. C. Magruder, Jr., a sum of money due him for services rendered the State, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs.
