Mr. Williams, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,
The House bill, entitled an Act regulating the right of
fishing in the Patuxent River and its tributaries.
Which was read the second time.
Mr. Earle, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,
The House bill, entitled an Act for the better protection of
Partridges, in Queen Anne's county.
Which -was read the second time.
The Senate bill, entitled an Act to provide for the creation
of a new County from certain Election Districts of Allegany
county,
Being upon its third reading,
Mr. Jump submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Section 1, line 10, amend by striking out the word " Gar-
rett," and insert "Spates."
Which was determined in the negative.
Said bill was then read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading,
The Senate bill, entitled an Act to amend and re enact sec-
tions 47, 49, 51 and 63 of Article LXXXL, of the Code of
Public General Laws, title "Revenue and Taxes," of the Code of Public General Laws,
Being on its second reading,
Mr, Tuck moved to amend as follows :
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Section 51, line 2, after the word " property," insert "of
persons owing said taxes."
