On motion by Mr. Williams, The Senate adjourned. NIGHT SESSION. MONDAY EVENING, March 11th, 1872. Pursuant to the order adopted on Friday, the 8th inst.,. the Senate met. Present at roll call the following Senators : Messrs. President, Blake, Compton, Crawford, Davis, Dennis, Earle, Fields, Henry, Jump, Longwell, Miller,. Stephenson, Spates, Sellman, Steiner, Timmons, Wilson, Williams—19. Senate bill, entitled at Act to prevent incompetent persons from conducting the business as Pharmaceutists or retail Druggists, Being on its second reading, On motion by Mr. Blake, Was recommitted to the committee whence it eminated. The House bill, entitled an Act to authorize the Commis- sioners of Charles county, to revise and correct the valuation of the lands in said county, assessed to Elizabeth E. Mat- thews, Being on its third reading, Mr. Compton submitted the following amendments : AMENDMENTS PROPOSED. Amendment to title : Add to the title "W. W. Dunnington." |
