Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. The Senate bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 872, of Article IV., of the Public Local Laws of the City of Balti- more, entitled an Act to authorize the extension of the lim- its of direct taxation within the City of Baltimore, be, and the same is hereby repealed, and the following re-enacted in lieu thereof, Being upon its second reading, On motion by Mr. Blake, Was recommitted to the Senators from Baltimore City. |
