The Senate bill, entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments section 44, of Article XXIV., of the Code-
of Public General Laws, title "Conveyancing,"
Was read the second- time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
The Senate bill, entitled an Act to repeal Article
LXXXVII, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Sheep," and to re-enact the same with amendments,
Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
Senate bill, entitled an Act giving the consent of the State
of Maryland to the jurisdiction by the United States, of land
on the Potomac River, in Prince George's (county, for the site
of Fort Foot, and the erection of fortifications thereon,
Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
Senate bill, entitled an Act to regulate the pay of the State's.
Attorney in Prince George's county,
Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
Senate hill, entitled an Act to incorporate the Real Estate
Bank of Baltimore,
Being on its second reading,
On motion by Mr, Stephenson,
Said bill was postponed.
Senate bill, entitled an Act to authorize and require the-
County Commissioners of Worcester county, to levy a sum of
money to pay the Crier and Bailiffs of the Circuit Court of
said county,
Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
The Senate hill, entitled an Act to incorporate the town
of Chrisfield, in Somerset county,
Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
The Senate bill, entitled an Act to provide for the defence
of Officers of Registration, Judges of Election, and others
who are indicted in the United States Court for alleged vio-
lations of the Acts of Congress, relating to the rights of
citizens of the United States to vote,
Being upon its second reading,
