and City Council of Baltimore to subscribe to the bonds of
the Western Maryland Railroad Company,
'Reported favorably thereon, and
-Said bill was read the second time.
Mr. Stephenson, from a Select Committee, to which had
been referred, reported
The House bill, entitled an Act to authorize and direct
the Attorney General to institute proceedings to forfeit the
Charter of the Baltimore and Harford Turnpike Company.
With the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Add the following as an additional section:
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
and be in force on and after the 1st day of August, 1872.
