county, and Point Lookout, in St. Mary's county, and to
enact the following in lieu thereof.
On motion by Mr. Henry,
Leave was granted to the Committee heretofore appointed,
to report a bill to repeal section 82, of Article X., of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Dorchester County," sub-
title "Church Creek," denning the limits of the town of
Church Creek, and to re-enact the same in an amended form.
Mr. Dennis, from the Committee on the Chesapeake Bay
and its Tributaries, to which leave had been granted, re-
ported
A bill, entitled an Act to define and preserve the Harbor
at Crisford, on the Little Annamessix river, in Somerset
county.
Which was read the first time and ordered to be printed.
Mr. Henry, from the same Committee, to which had been
referred
The House bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 16 of Ar-
ticle XLI, of the Code of Public General Laws, title " Fish
and Fisheries," sub-title " Potomac,"
Reported favorably thereon, and,
Said bill was read the second time.
Also, from the same Committee, reported favorably on
The House bill, entitled an Act to amend and re-enact the
Laws regulating the taking and catching of Oysters with.
Bakes or Tongs.
Said bill was then read the second time.
Also, from the same Committee, reported favorably on
The House bill. entitled an Act to repeal chapter 129, of
the Laws passed January Session, 1870, and to re-enact the
same with amendments relating to the taking of Oysters
with Scoops, in the waters of Fishing Bay and Honga river,
in Dorchester county,
Said bill was then read the second time.
Also, from the same Committee, to which had been referred
The petition of citizens of Harford county, praying the
passage of a law preventing fishing with gill-nets within.
certain water-births of shore and battery fisheries.
