Also, from the same Committee, to' which had been re- ferred House bill, entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled an Act to incorporate the Potomac Fire Insurance Company, of Baltimore, passed January Session, 1867, chapter 424. Reported said bill, and asked to be relieved from further consideration thereof. On motion by Mr. Spates, Said bill was then referred to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings. Mr. Compton, from a Select Committee, to which leave had been granted, reported A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis- sioners of St. Mary's county, Charles county, and Prince George's county, to subscribe to the capital stock of the Washington City and Point Lookout Railroad Company. Which was read the first time. The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the following tills: The House bill entitled an Act amendatory of an Act passed at December Session, 1849, chapter 358, entitled an Act incorporating the Union Plank or Turnpike Road Com- pany, in Montgomery county. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Corpora- tions. Also, The House bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act entitled an Aft to repeal sections 5, 6 and 8, of chapter 24, passed December Session, 1835, entitled an Act to authorize Wm. Krebs, R. Linthicum and Wm. Linthicum, to build a bridge over Gwynn's Falls, at or near where the' present bridge stands, and to revive and re-enact the same. Which was read and referred to Messrs. Tuck, Blake and Denson. Also, The House bill entitled, an Act to" add an additional sec- tion to Article LXXXI., of the Code of Public General |
