Which,
On motion by Mr. Carroll,
Was referred to the Committee on Finance.
On motion by Mr. Henry,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Fields and Denson, to intro-
duce a bill to authorize the County Commissioners of Dor-
chester county to aid in the construction and completion of
the Vienna Railroad.
On motion by Mr. Jump,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judiciary Proceed-
ings, to report a bill to repeal section 47, Article XVIII., of
tho Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Clerks of
Courts," so far as relates to Talbot county, and to re-enact
the same with amendments.
On motion by Wilson,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Wilson, Longwell and
Blake, to report a bill to regulate the pay of State's Attor-
ney for Prince George's county.
On motion by Mr. Blake,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance, to re-
port a bill to incorporate the Real Estate Bank of Baltimore.
Mr. Jump, from a Select Committee, to which had been re-
ferred the petitions of numerous citizens of Talbot county,
praying the passage of a law forming an additional election
district in said county.
Reported unfavorably thereon, and the report was adopted*
Mr. Tuck, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
to which leave had been granted, reported
A bill entitled an Act to provide for the defense of Officers
of Registration, Judges of Election, and others, who are in-
dicted for alleged violations of the Acts of Congress enforcing
the right of citizenship in the United States,
Which was read the first time.
Mr. Wilson, from a Select Committee, to which had been
referred
The House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Prince George's county to build a bridge,
Reported favorably thereon, and
Said hill was read the second time.
Mr. Fields, from a Select Committee, to which leave had
