Mr- Griswold, Chairman of the Committee on the Judi- ciary, reported favorably, A bill, entitled an Act to amend section 1, chapter 473, of the Act of 1870, entitled an Act to add an additional section to Article IV. of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Police," and be section eighteen hundred and twenty-seven of said Article, by pro- viding that jurisdiction, in cases when concealed weapons are found upon offenders, be extended to all Justices' of the Peace of the State of Maryland, in the City of Baltimore. Which was read a first time. Mr. Smith, Chairman of a Select; Committee, reported favorably, The Senate bill, entitled an Act to repeal the forty-third, lorty-fourth, forty-sixth and seventy-third sections of Article X., of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, relating to the town of Cambridge, in Dorchester county, and to re- enact the same in an amended form. Which was read a second time. Mr. Streett, Chairman of the Committee on the Library, reported favorably, The Senate hill, entitled an Act authorizing and directing the State Librarian to furnish from the State Library, for the use of the Circuit Court for Washington county, a full set of the Decisions of the Court of Appeals, and of the Acts of Assembly, and other books, with proposed amendment. AMENDMENT PROPOSED : Add after the word "Court," in line twelve of section first, the following words : provided duplicates are retained for the use of the Library.
