1872 ] OF THE SENATE. 285 Mr. Dennis submitted the following message: BY THE SENATE, February 27, 1872. Gentlemen of the House of Delegates : We have received your message, proposing the appoint- ment of a Joint Committee, consisting of three members on the part of the House and two on the part of the Senate, to whom shall be referred the "Report of the Commissioners on the Boundary Line between the States of Virginia and Maryland," and all other matters relating thereto, with power to send for persons and papers, and to report by bill or otherwise, and concur therein. We have appointed on the part of the Senate, Messrs. Dennis and Compton. By order, AUGUSTUS GASSAWAY, Secretary. Which were read, assented to, and sent to the House of Delegates. The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the follow- ing bills : House bill, entitled an Act to repeal an Act, entitled an Act to amend Article XVI. of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to injunctions, and to enact a substitute therefore. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judi- cial Proceedings. Also, The House hill, entitled an Act to allow an additional Clerk in the office of the Treasurer of this State. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Fi- nance. Also, The House bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 7 of the Act passed the eighth day of March, 1856, chapter 148, enti- tled an Act to incorporate the Kent county Railroad Com- pany, and to re-enact the same with amendments. Which was read and referred to Messrs. Spencer, Earle and Williams. Also returned, |
