Ordered, That the Hall Keepers be instructed to prevent
boys from congregating in the Rotunda, either when the
House is in session or during its adjournment, and to pro-
tect the Hall property from depredation.
Which was adopted.
On motion of Mr. Parker,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to o
introduce a bill to amend the Act passed March 30, 1868,
entitled an Act to incorporate the St. Martin's Inlet and
Navigation Company.
On motion of Mr. Travers,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill to incorporate the Consumers' Gas Company
of Baltimore City.
On- motion of Mr. McColgan,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to amend the charter of the Potomac Fire
Insurance Company of Baltimore.
On motion of Mr. Radcliffe,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Agriculture to in-
troduce a bill, to fix the standard weight of corn at 62 Ibs.
per bushel, the standard weight now being 56 Ibs.
On motion of Mr. Miller,
Leave was granted to the Frederick delegation to introduce
a bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 40, of Article XI.
of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Frederick Coun-
ty," and to amend and re-enact the same.
On motion of Mr. Markland,
Leave was granted to the Committee oa Corporations to
introduce a bill, to repeal an Act passed at the January Ses-
sion, 1868, chapter 266, entitled a supplement to the Act
passed at the January Session of 1864, chapter 116, entitled
an Act to revive and extend an Act to incorporate the
Wicomico and Pocomoke Railroad Company, with amend-
ment, passed at December Session, 1847, and to re-enact the
same with amendments.
On motion of Mr. dark, of Baltimore City,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill, to repeal sections 882, 883, 884, 885, 886,
887, 888 and 888, of Article IV. of the Code of Public Local
Laws, entitled "City of Baltimore," and to enact new sec-
tions in lieu thereof.
