1872. OF THE SENATE. 253 Reported said bills, and the Committee were relieved from further consideration thereof. On motion by Mr. Earle, The said bills were referred to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings. On motion by Mr. Spates, Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to report a hill, entitled an Act to amend the charter of the Canton Company of Baltimore. Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, to whom leave had been granted, reported A bill, entitled an Act to amend the charter of the Canton Company of Baltimore City. Which was read the first time, and On motion by Mr. Stephenson, Said bill was ordered to be printed. Hon. J. Thomson Mason appeared with a communication from his Excellency, Governor Whyte, endorsed "Executive business." On motion by Mr. Earle, The Senate proceeded to Executive Session. The Senate having resumed Legislative business, On motion by Mr. Stephenson, The Senate adjourned. |
