H., Linthicum, Johnson, Langrell—64. The Speaker laid before the House the Forty-second Re- port of the President and Visitors of the Maryland Hospital for the Insane. Which was read, and referred to the Committee on Public- Buildings. Mr. Smith presented the petition of Jacob A, Consay and- one hundred and seven other citizens of Dorchester County, asking the repeal of chapter 129, January Session, relating to the scooping for oysters in Fishing Bay, in Dorchester County. Which was read, and referred to the Dorchester delega- tion. Mr. Baldwin presented the petition of Michael E. Pue and forty-six other citizens of Harford County, protesting against the repeal of the ducking laws. Which was read and referred to the Committee ou the Ohesapeake Bay and its Tributaries. Mr. Miller presented the petition of Wm. P. Maulsby-and other members of the Frederick bar, asking an Act to re- peal section 40, of Article XI., of the Code of Local Laws, entitled " Frederick County," and re-ennct the same, with amendments. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Cor- porations. |
