Which was read, and referred to the Committee on Corporations. Also, The petition of John O. Hines, and thirty-two other citizens of Frederick county, asking that the property of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company be taxed. Which were severally read and referred to the Committee on Corporations. Mr. Feig presented the petition of Elizabeth Parsons, widow of Thomas Parsons, to be restored to the pension rolls. Which was read, and referred to the Committee on Fen- ions. Mr. Streett presented the petition of Shadrick Streett, Sr., asking for a pension. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen- sions. Mr. Wells presented the petition of Willie Wiggins, Wm. R. Thompson, Westol M. Hohns, Wm. Hubbard, Catharine Hurdle, Rachel Luck, soldiers and widows of soldiers of the war of 1812, asking to be allowed pensions. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen- aions. Mr. Streett presented the petition of Mecham Cole, and twenty-eight other citizens of Harford county, asking the repeal of so much of chapter 418, of the Act of Assembly passed at the January cession, 1870, as repeals the various Acts of the Code providing for the weighing of grain. Which was read, and referred to the Committee on Inspec- tions. Mr. Eiggs presented the petition of Ann Hobbs, for resto- ration to the pension list. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-sions. Mr. Jamart presented a petition from Mary Brooks, widow of Robert Brooks. |
