1872.] OF THE SENATE. 237 The Senate bill, entitled an Act ceding to the United States of America jurisdiction over the land contained within the enclosures of the National Cemetery, near Annapolis, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Stephenson, Blake, Spates, Carroll, Sellman, Claggett, Spencer, Denson, Steiner, Downs, Tuck, Jump, Wilson, Longwell, Williams—17, Miller, NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. The House bill, entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to issue bonds to the amount of $500,000, as provided by an ordinance of said Mayor and City Council, to provide for the building the New 'City Hall, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, ' Stephenson, Blake, Spates, Carroll, Sellman, Claggett, Spencer, Denson, Steiner, Downs, Tuck, Jump, Wilson, Longwell, Williams—17. Miller, NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. The House bill, entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled an Act to incorporate the President and Directors of the Maryland Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore, passed January Session, 1852, by decreasing the capital stock, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as follows : AFFIRMATIVE.
