So, the minority report was not received.
The question then recurring upon the adoption of the ma-
jority report,
It was adopted,
And the Committee discharged from the further considera-
tion of the subject.
Tire Secretary of the Senate delivered the following bills,
Severally endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays:"
A bill, entitled an Act to repeal sections 43, 44, 46 and
73 of Article X. of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, relating to the town of Cambridge, in Dorchester
county, and to re-enact the same in an amended form.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the Dorches-
ter delegation.
Also,
A bill, entitled an Act to amend an Act passed at January
Session, 1858, chapter 410, entitled an Act to incorporate th&
Mineral Hill Mining Company of Maryland, by adding the
following additional sections thereto, authorizing the reduc-
tion or the capital stock of the said company by the cancella-
tion of forfeited stuck.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.
Also,
A bill, entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
pay Thomas J. Tw<lley, Tax Collector for Sharpstown Dis-
trict, in Wicomico County, for over-payment into the Trea-
sury for the years 1868 and 1869.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the Commit-
tee on Claims.
Also,
A bill, entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
