1872.] OF THE SENATE. 223 Senate bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 212, of Article- IV. of the Public Local Laws of the City of Baltimore, enti- tled Elections, and to re-enact the same with amendments, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Fields, Blake, , Longwell, Compton, Miller, Carroll, Stephenson, Claggett, Spencer, Denson, Steiner, Davis, Timmons, Downs, Wilson—17. Dennis, NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. Senate bill, entitled an Act to revive, amend and re-enact certain sections of the Act passed January Session, 1852, chapter 316, relating to the burning of the Court House in Dorchester county, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows : AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Fields, Blake, Henry, Compton, Longwell, Carroll, Miller, Claggett, Stephenson, Denson, Steiner, Davis, Timmons, Downs, Wilson, Dennis, Williams—18. NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and delivered the following bills: House bill, entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore City to issue bonds to the amount of $500,000, to build a new City Hall. Which was read and referred to the Senators from Balti- more City. Also, House bill , en titled an Act to add a new Article to the Code of Public General Laws, regulating the Inspection of Tobacco, |
