Said bill was then read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. On motion by Mr. Blake, Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed- ings to report a bill, to amend and add to Article XXIV., section 25, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Conveyancing." Mr. Longwell, from a Select Committee, to which leave had been granted, reported A hill, entitled an Act to create an additional election dis- trict in Carroll county. Which was read the first time. Also, from a Select Committee, to which had been ferred House bill, entitled an Act for the relief of the sureties on the bonds of Stephen R. Gore, late Collector for Carroll county, Reported favorably thereon, and The said bill was read the second time. On motion by Mr. Longwell, The rules were suspended, as required by section 27, of Article III. of the Constitution, so as to give a second read- ing this day to said bill, as follows: AFFIRMATIVE.
