Gore, late Collector of County Taxes for Carroll county. "Which was read the first time, and referred to Messrs. Longwell, Miller and Timmons. Also, House bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 90, of Article X., of the Code of Public Local Laws, title " Dorchester County," sub-title 'l Election, Justices of the Peace and Con- stables," and to re-enact the same. Which was read the first time, and referred to Messrs. Henry, Compton and Fields. Also, House bill, entitled an Act to add an additional section to Article II., of the Code of Local Laws, entitled " Anne Arundel County," sub-title "Annapolis," to prevent the carrying of concealed weapons in said city. Which was read the first time, and referred to Messrs. Tuck, Davis and Steiner. Also, House bill, entitled an Act to release Wm. W. Watting, Josiah Groves, and others, sureties on the bond of Thomas McCrae,Jr., Collector of State and county taxes for 1869, from the payment of interest on State tax. Which was read the first time, and referred to the Committee on Finance, The hour of 1 o'clock having arrived, The President announced the order of the day, being The House bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 15, of Article L. entitled "Juries," of the Code of Public Local Laws and to re-enact the same with amendments, Was taken up, considered, and postponed until to-morrow.
