Mr. dark, of [Baltimore City, Chairman of ft Select Com-
mittee. reported favorably,
A Bill, entitled an Act to incorporate the Board of Mana-gers of the Dolan Children's Aid Society, under the charge
of the Young Catholics' Friend Society, of Baltimore. 'l:
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Clarke, of Baltimore City, Chairman or' a Select Com-
mittee, reported favorably,
A Bill, entitled an Act to confirm the bequest of Rev. James
Dolan, deceased, to the Young Catholics' Friend Society, of
the City of Baltimore, for the purpose of establishing a Chil-
dren's Aid Society.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Kirk, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported favor-
ably from a majority of said Committee,
A Bill, entitled an Act to repeal sections 82, 83, 84, 85,
87 and 89, as amended by the Act of 1862, chanter 55 and
section 94, of the Code of Public Local Laws, of Frederick
county, relating to the Mayor, Aldermen, and Common
Council of Frederick City, and re-enact substitutes therefor..
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Miller, from a minority of said Committee, submitted
the following
REPORT.
The undersigned, one of the Special Committee, to whom
was referred the bill, entitled an Act, repealing certain sections of Article XI., of the Code of Public Local Laws, sub-
title "Frederick City," begs leave to report that said bill is
not required nor asked for by the citizens of Frederick City.,
in the shape it appeared. In so far as the Act relating to
the registration of voters in.said city, the minority of said
Committee fully agree, but not to the redistricting of said
city, and thereby creating more officers 1 herein.
