180 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS' [Jan, 26,
A bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 16, of the Act
passed at December Session, 1845, chapter 37, entitled an
Act to incorporate the Mutual Insurance Company of Wash-
ington county, and amend and re-enact the said 16th sec-
tion, and to repeal the 10th section of the Act passed at
January Session, 1870, chapter 439, entitled an Act to
amend an Act passed at December Session, 1845, chapter 37,
entitled an Act to incorporate the Mutual Insurance Com-
pany of Washington county, and the several Acts supplemen-
tary (hereto, and amendatory thereof, and to amend and re-
enact the said 10th section.
Which was read a first time, and referred to the Committee
on Corporations.
Also, returned
The House bill, entitled an Act to authorize the Appeal
Tax Court of Baltimore City to hear the appeal of F, R.
Hazelhurst,
Endorsed "Reported unfavorably upon by the Committee
en Finance, and report adopted."
Which was concurred in.
Mr. Johnson, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to provide for maintaining and
keeping in repair the public roads in Wicomico county.
"Which was read a first time.
Mr. Smith, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
fevorably,
A bill, entitled an Act to repeal chapter 189, passed at the
January Session, 1870, relating to Queen Anne's, Dorches-
ter and Somerset counties, and for reimbursing owners of
aheep killed by dogs, commonly known as the dog law.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. L. A. J. Lamotte, Chairman of a Select Committee,
reported favorably,
A Bill, entitled an Act to authorize and empower the
county commissioners of Carroll county to subscribe to the
capital stock of Turnpike Companies, in Carroll county.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Smith, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A Bill, entitled an Act to incorporate the Trustees of the
Bethlehem Methodist Episcopal Church, South, of Taylor's
Island, Dorchester county.
