On motion by Mr. Blake, Leave was granted to the Senators from Baltimore City, to introduce a bill to repeal section 212, Public Local Laws of Baltimore City, title "Elections," and to re-enact the same with amendments. On motion by Mr. Longwell, Leave of absence was granted to Mr. Wilson until Wed- nesday next. The Senate bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 171, of Article XCIII. of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to the investment by Guardians, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nay, as follows: AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Longwell, Blake, Miller, Compton, Stephenson, Crawford, Spates, Claggett, Sellman, Denson, Spencer, Davis, Steiner, Dennis, Timmons, Fields, Wilson, Henry, Williams—20. NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates. The Senate bill, entitled an Act to pay Somerville Sollers Clerk of the Circuit Court for Calvert county, a sum of money, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nay, a*" follows: AFFIRMATIVE.
