To the Honorable, the Joint Committee on Printing of the
Senate and House of Delegates of Maryland for the Ses-
sion of 1872.
We, the undersigned, practical printers, desire to make
this our proposition for the Legislative Printing for the Sen-
ate and House of Delegates, for the Session of 1872, as fol-
lows:
12,500 copies of the Governor's Message, in English.
3,000 " " " " in German.
8,500 " Labor and Agricultural Report, in English.
6,000 ' " " " in German.
6,000 " Comptroller's " in English.
4,000 " Adjutant General's " "
4,000 (t Treasurer's " "
4,000 " School " "
1,000 " each of the Daily Journal of Senate and House.
4,000 " Oyster Police Report, in English,
2,000 '' Bills, each of the Senate and House of Delegates.
2,000 <( Yeas and Nays, each for Senate and House of
Delegates. .
200 " Rules of Order, each for Senate and House of
Delegates. '
200 Lists of Members and Committees of Senate and.
House of Delegates,
and 2,000 copies of the Acts and Resolutions that may be
passed by the Senate and House of Delegates, at the Session
of 1872, the same to be printed on fine white paper, with
marginal notes, together with any and all other matter not
specified herein, that may be ordered to be printed in Eng-
lish, either by the Senate or House of Delegates, during the
entire Session of 1872 ; all of which we agree to do for the
sum of Thirty-eight Thousand Dollars.
And for the true and faithful performance of all which we
obligate ourselves to give bond with good and sufficient
sureties, to be approved of by the Committee on Printing, in
-the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000).
