1872.] OF THE SENATE. 1ST Which was adopted. Said bill was then read the second time, as amended, and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. On motion by Mr. Claggett, The vote by which the said bill was ordered to be engrossed was reconsidered, and Mr. Claggett submitted the following additional amend- ment: Strike out the word "two," and insert in lieu thereof, the word ''three," in section 204, line 7. Which was read and adopted. Said bill, as amended, was then read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. On motion by Mr. Claggett, The-Senate adjourned. FRIDAY, February 2, 1872. The Senate met. Grayer by Rev. Mr. Southgate. Present at roll call the following Senators : Messrs. President, Blake, Carroll, Claggett, Denson,.
