Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, to which
leave had been granted, reported a bill, entitled an Act to
add additional sections to Article LXXXI, of the Code of
Public General Laws of this State, entitled " Revenue and
Taxes," under the sub-title " National Banks."
Which was read the first time.
Mr, Earle, from the Committee on Finance, to which leave
had been granted, reported a bill, entitled an Act to repeal
section 93 of Article LXXXI, of the Code of Public Gen-
eral Laws, entitled " Revenues, and Taxes," and to re-enact
the following section in lieu thereof.
Which was read the first time.
Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, to which
Sad been recommitted Senate bill, entitled an Act to repeal
the 41st, 42d and 43d sections of Article LVI, of the Code
of Public General Laws relating to Licenses, and to re-enact
the same with amendments, and to add additional sections to
aid Article,
Reported said bill with the following amendment:
Section 9, line 1, strike out the word "three," and insert in lieu thereof the word lour.
Which was read and adopted.
Said bill was then read the second time and ordered to be
engrossed for a third reading.
Senate bill, entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and
"City Council of the City of Cumberland, to issue bonds for
'the purpose of providing for the payment of the debt, other
"than bonded, of said city, and for the extension of water
mains throughout the portions of said city not yet provided
therewith,
Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
third reading.
Senate bill, entitled an Act appropriating a sum of money
to pay to A J. Mowbray, late Collector of taxes in Dorchest-
er county, the amount over paid by him into the Treasury,
"Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
