Said hill was then returned to the House of Delegates. House bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 39, of Article- XV. of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Montgomery County," relating to Justices of the Peace and Constables in said county, and to re-enact the same so as to read as fol- lows, Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows: AFFIRMATIVE Messrs. President, Longwell, Blake, Miller, Oarroll, Stephenson, Crawford, Spates, Davis, Sellman, Dennis, Steiner. Earle, Timmons, Jump, Wilson—16. NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. Mr. Timmons, from a Select Committee, to which had been referred House bill, entitled an Act to complete the Worces- ter and Somerset Railroad, reported favorably thereon, and The said bill was then read the second time. Senate bill, entitled an Act to repeal the forty-first, forty- second and forty-third sections of Article LVI. of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to Licenses, and re-enact the same with amendments, and also to add additional sections. to said Act, Being upon its third reading, Mr. Earle submitted the following amendment: |
