1872.] OF THE SENATE. 117 Ordered; That the Comptroller be requested to obtain and furnish to the Senate at an early day, from the Pension Bureau at Washington, a list of all citizens of this State receiving pensions from the General Government, under the law passed by Congress, granting pensions to soldiers of the war of 1812. Mr. Sellman, from a Select Committee, to which had been * referred, House bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 39, of Article XV. of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Montgom- ery County," relating to Justices to1 the Peace and Consta- bles in said county, and to re enact the same, so as to read as follows, Reported favorably thereon, and the said bill was read the second time. Mr {Stephenson, from a Select Committee, to which had been referred, House bill, entitled an Act to authorize and empower the Boards of County Commissioners of Baltimore and Harford counties, at the joint expense of said counties, to build a bridge over the Little Gunpowder River, at. or near Joshua. R. Green's ford, Reported favorably thereon, ami the said bill was read the second time. Senate bill, entitled a further supplement to the Act, enti- tled an Act to incorporate the Fredericktown Strings' Insti- tution, passed at December Session 1827, chapter 14;;, of the Act of the General Assembly of Maryland, repealing the fifth section thereof, and re-enacting the same with amendments, Was read the second rime, and <>' ! .<; I to be engrossed for a third reading. Senate bill, entitled a supplement to 111 Act, entitled an Act to incorporate the Hillen Road. C ompany , of Baltimore county, passed at January Session, 1854, chapter 91), and supplements thereto, passed at" January Session, 1860, chap- ter 51, and at January Session, 1867, chapter 214, Was real the second time and ordered to lie engrossed for a third reading. Mr. Stephenson, from a Select Committee, to which leave had been granted, reported a bill, entitled an Act to author- ize and require the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Harford county, to record such Chancery cases decided in said Court as involve titles to land, and which have not been recorded. Which was read the first time. |
