To the Honorable, the Joint Committee en Printing, of the
the Senate and House of Delegates of Maryland, for the
Session of 1872.
We, the undersigned, practical printers, desire to make
this our proposition for the Legislative printing for the
Senate and House of Delegates, lor the Session of 1872, as
follows:
12,500 copies of the Governor's Message in English.
3,000 ' " " " li German.
8,5001 ' Labor and Agricultural Reports in English.
5,000 ' <- ' " " ' German.
6,000 ' Comptroller's Report in English.
4,000 ' Adjutant General's Report in English.
4,000 " Treasurer'!. ' (t "
4,000 " School " " "
4,000 " Oyster Police ,<-<<.
200 " Bills, each of the Senate and House of Delegates.
1,000 " each of the daily Journal of Senate and House.
2,000 " Yeas and Nays, each for the Senate and House
of Delegates.
200 " Rules of Order, each for Senate and House of
Delegates.
200 " Lists of Members and Committees of Senate and
House of Delegates, and
2,000 copies of the Acts and Resolutions that may be passed
by the Senate and House of Delegates at the Session of 1872;
the same to be printed on fine white paper with marginal
notes; together with any and all other matter not specified
herein, that may be ordered to be printed in English, either
by the Senate or House of Delegates, during the entire Ses-
sion of 1872 All of which we agree to do for the sum of
Thirty-eight Thousand Dollars.
And for the true and faithful performance of all which we
obligate ourselves to give bond with good and sufficient sureties, to be approved of by the Committee on Printing, in the
sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars, ($50,000.)

Mr. Henry moved that the further consideration of said Re-
port be postponed, and made the order of the day for Wed-
nesday next.
