100 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 25,
A bill, entitled an Act to repeal section 171 of Article
XCII. of the Code of Public General Laws, relating to the
investment by Guardian? of the proceeds of sale of real estate
belonging to their wards, and sold by a trustee in Equity,
and to re-enact the same as follows.
Which was read (lie fust time, and referred to tin' Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.
Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, to which had
been referred Senate bill, entitled an Act to provide for the
distribution among the tobacco-growing counties of the State
of the net -revenues .arising from the inspection of tobacco,
reported unfavorahly thereon.
Said bill was then ordered to be printed.
Mr. Crawford, from a Select Committee, to which had been
referred House bill, entitled an Act regulatings Alices in
Wicomico county, reported. favorably thereon, and.
Said bill was read the second time.
Senate bill, entitled an Act to .amend an Act, passed at
January Session, 1858, chapter 410, entitled an Aft to in-corporate the Mineral Hill Mining Company of Maryland,
by adding additional sections thereto,
Was read the second time and ordered to he engrossed for
third reading.
Senate bill, entitled an Act to repeal the 43d, 44th, 46th
and 73d sections, of Article X. of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, relating to the town of Cambridge, in
Dorchester county, and to re-enact the same in an. amended
form,
Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
Senate bill, entitled an Act to exempt from State and City
taxation the real and personal property of the Improved
Order of Red Men of Baltimore city,
Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows :
