Gentlemen of the House of Delegates : We have received your message, proposing (lie appoint- ment of a Joint Committee to cancel certain coupons in said message mentioned, and concur therein. We have appointed on the part of the Senate, Messrs. Williams and Henry. By order, AUGUSTUS GASSAWAY, Secretary. Also, BY THE SENATE, January 24th, 1872. Gentlemen of the House of Delegates : We have received your message, proposing the appoint- ment of a Joint Committee to confer in the action of the Sen- ate adopting an amendment to House Resolutions, entitled "Resolutions to authorize the Governor to employ additional counsel it, in his judgment, the same may be necessary, to defend the State's interest in the suit now pending in the Territory of Columbia between W. W. Corcoran and the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Company,'" and we concur therein. We have appointed on the part of the Senate Messrs. Wil- liams and Henry. By order, AUGUSTUS GASSAWAY, Secretary. Which were read, assented to, and sent to the House of Delegates. On motion by Mr. Downs, The Senate adjourned. ' |
