name from the Act of Assembly of 1870, chapter 477.
On motion by Mr. Denson,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
prepare and report a bill to amend the Act entitled an. Act
to incorporate the Mineral Hill Mining Company of Mary-
land, passed at January Session, 1858, chapter 410, by
adding additions! sections thereto, authorizing the reduction
of the capital stork of said company.
On motion by Mr. Fields,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to prepare and report a bill, entitled an Act to add an
additional section to Article XVI. of the Code of Public
General Laws, title "Chancery," sub-title " Trustee," to
follow section 139, of said Article.
On motion by Mr. Fields,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Fields, Compton and Stephenson to prepare and report a bill, entitled an Act to repeal
the one hundred and seventy-first section of Article XCIII. of
the Code of Public General Laws, relating to the investment
by guardians of the proceeds of sale of real estate, belonging
to their wards, and sold by a trustee in Equity, and to re-
enact the same as follows.
On motion by Mr. Stephenson,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Stephenson, Denson and
Henry to report a bill to repeal chapter -118, passed at Janu-
ary Session 1870, entitled an Act to repeal all those sections
of Article IV. of the Code of Public Local Laws, for the City
of Baltimore, title "Inspections," from section 272 to section
567, &c., and to re-enact such acts and supplemental acts,
and sections thereby repealed.
Which was read,
Mr. Carroll moved to refer the consideration of the said
leave to the Committee on Finance.
Which was determined in the negative.
On motion by Mr. Stephenson,
The said leave was referred to a Select Committee consist-
ing of Messrs. Stephenson, Denson and Henry.
On motion by Mr. Carrol 1,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to intro-
duce a bill, to subscribe tor 250 copies of Law and Rules of
Land Office, by Lewis Mayer and John M- Brewer, and to
