58 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 17, the town of Towsontown, passed January Session, 1870, chapter 180. Mr. Wilson presented a petition of the securities of Rich. T. Robinson, collector of taxes in Prince George's County, for the years 1856 and 1857, asking that the interest on ar- rearages due the State be remitted. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Finance. Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, to which leave had been granted, reported a bill, entitled a Supplement to an Act to incorporate the Lutheran Congregation of St. Paul's, Christ's Lutheran Church, St, Matthew's Lutheran Church, and Mt. Zion's Lutheran Church, in Frederick County, passed December Session, 1849, chapter 310. Which was read the first time. Mr. Claggett, from a Select Committee, to which leave had been granted, reported a bill, entitled an Act to repeal sec- tion 2 of chapter 274, entitled " An Act to repeal section 2 of chapter 31 of the Acts of Assembly of 1865, in relation to the publication of Laws, and. to re-enact the same with amendments," and to amend and re-enact the same. Which was read the first time. Mr. Claggett moved to suspend the rules, so as to give the bill a second reading, The yeas and nays were called, as required by section 27 of Article III. of the Constitution, and appeared as follows : AFFIBMATIVE.
