Which was read and referred to Messrs. Steiner, Jump and
Downs.
Mr. Denson presented the petition of Mary B. Waters,
praying for a pension.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions. *
Mr. Stephenson presented the memorial of members of the
bar of the Circuit Court of Harford county, asking that a law
be passed, authorizing certain unrecorded Equity cases upon
which Maryland titles in said county depend to be recorded.
Which was read and referred to Messrs. Stephenson, Clag-
gett and Crawford.
Mr. Miller offered the following order :
Ordered, That fifteen hundred copies of the Governor's
Message and accompanying documents be printed in English,
and five hundred copies of the same in the German language,
for the use of the Senate, the price for the same to be fixed
by the Committee on Printing, subject to the approval of the
Senate.
Which was read, and, by unamimous consent of the Senate,
was withdrawn.
On motion by Mr. Compton, it wag
Ordered, That the Postmaster be, and he is hereby re-
quired to furnish to each Senator the same amount of post-
age stamps furnished at the last session, and to each officer
ot the Senate, such amount as is allowed by the Act of 1870;
and that the Secretary of the Senate have this order forth-
with presented to the Postmaster.
On motion by Mr. Davis,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Davis, Tuck and Steiner to
prepare and report a bill to create one or more Election Dis-
tricts in Baltimore county.
On motion by Mr. Steiner,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Steiner, Jump and Downs to
prepare and report a bill, entitled a supplement to the Act
passed by the General Assembly of Maryland, at December
Session, 1831, chapter 54, entitled "An Act to incorporate
the Frederick and Woodsborough Turnpike Road Company."
On motion by Mr. Denson,
