The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the follow- ing bills: House bill, entitled an Act to repeal the fifth section of an Act, entitled an Act to incorporate the Western Avenue Company, passed January Session, 1860, chapter 112, Was read the first time, And referred to Messrs. Davis, Tuck and Steiner. House bill, entitled an Act to repeal section fifty-nine of Act of Assembly, passed January Session, 1868, chapter 328, entitled an Act to provide for the collection of taxes in Balti- more county. Was read the first time, And referred to Messrs. Davis, Tuck and Steiner. On motion by Mr. Tuck, The Senate adjourned. TUESDAY, January 16th, 1872. The Senate met. Prayer by Rev. Dr. Bull.
