1872.] OF THE SENATE. ; Mr. Jump submitted the following message : BY THE SENATE, January 11th,1872. Gentlemen of the House of Delegates : We have received your message, proposing the appoint- ment of a Joint Committee of the two Houses to visit and inspect the Deaf and Dumb Asylum at Frederick City and concur therein. We have named, on the part of the Senate, Messrs. Jump Downs and Steiner. By order, AUGUSTUS GASSAWAY, Secretary. Mr. Fields moved to postpone the consideration of the message until Thursday the '25th inst. Mr. Fields, by unanimous consent, withdrew his motion Mr. Stephenson moved to postpone until 25th instant, a dernandeil the yeas and nays. Determined in the negative as follows :
