Laws, entitled "Agents and Factors."
The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the follow-
ing messages :
BY THE House, OF DELEGATES,
January 11, 1872.
Gentlemen of the Senate:
We propose, by the concurrence of your Honorable Body,
the appointment of a Joint Commitee, composed of five
mernbers of the House, and three on the part of the Senate,
to visit and reinstate the Deaf and Dumb Asylum at Fred-
erick City.
We have named on the part; of the House Messrs. Henkle,
dark, of Baltimore City, Turner, Vickers and Miller.

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,
January 11, 1872.
Gentlemen of the Senate :
We have received your message, asking the appointment
of a Joint Committee to report such Joint Bales as may be
necessary to change the mode of presenting bills passed by
the General Assembly to the Governor, and respectfully con-
cur therein.
We have appointed on the part of the House Messrs. Chap-
man, Henkle and Streett.

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

We have received your message proposing to proceed to
the election of State Treasurer to-day at two o'clock, P. M.,
and concur therin.
We have appointed as tellers, on the part of the House, to
receive the ballots, Messrs. Griswold and Banks.
