The Clerk of the House of Delegates delivered the follow- ing messages : BY THE House, OF DELEGATES, January 11, 1872. Gentlemen of the Senate: We propose, by the concurrence of your Honorable Body, the appointment of a Joint Commitee, composed of five mernbers of the House, and three on the part of the Senate, to visit and reinstate the Deaf and Dumb Asylum at Fred- erick City. We have named on the part; of the House Messrs. Henkle, dark, of Baltimore City, Turner, Vickers and Miller. By order, MILTON Y. KIDD, Chief Clerk. BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES, January 11, 1872. Gentlemen of the Senate : We have received your message, asking the appointment of a Joint Committee to report such Joint Bales as may be necessary to change the mode of presenting bills passed by the General Assembly to the Governor, and respectfully con- cur therein.
