The bill, entitled an Act authorizing Dr, William Stewart,
guardian of John Walter, a minor, to pass his final account
with the Orphans' Court of Somerset County,
Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for &
third reading.
The bill, entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled an Act
to incorporate the President and Directors of the Maryland
Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore, passed January Ses-
sion, 1858, by decreasing the capital stock, and the mode of
voting by the Stockholders,
Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading,
The bill, entitled an Act authorizing James 1 1/2. Dennis,
guardian of Levin E. P. Bowland, a minor, to pass his final
account with the Orphans' Court of Somerset County,
Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill, entitled an Act to authorize the proprietors of
Greenmount Cemetery to increase the permanent fund for
the maintenance thereof,
Was read a second time, and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill, entitled an Act to amend chapter 126 of the laws,
passed January Session, 1870, entitled an Act to authorize
the Faculty and Board of Trustees of the Washington Uni-
versity, of Baltimore, to use the real estate of said University,
situated on the corner of Calvert and Saratoga streets, in
Baltimore City, as a basis of credit to raise a sum of money,
not exceeding ten thousand dollars, by creating a ground
rent thereon, for the uses of said University,
Being upon a second reading,
On motion of Mr. Street,
The further consideration thereof was postponed, and the
bill made the order of the day for Monday, the 28th inst., at
1 o'clock, P. M.
The bill, entitled an Act entitled a supplement to an Act
entitled an Act to lay off streets in Baltimore county, adjoin-
ing Baltimore City, and to repeal certain Acts inconsistent
