The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following mes- sage: BY THE SENATE, April 1, 1872. Gentlemen of the House of Delegates: We have received your message proposing a Committee of Conference on the disagreeing votes of the two Houses, on the amendments to House printed bills Nos. 149 and 150, and concur therein. We have appointed on the part of the Senate, Messrs.. Earle, Williams and Carroll. By order, A. GASSAWAY, Secretary. Which was read. The Secretary of the Senate returned the following bill, A bill entitled an Act to authorize, empower and direct the Court of Appeals to re-open and re-hear the affirmances of the judgments, orders and decrees in the several cases -wherein John T. B. Dorsey was appellant, decided at April term. 1869. Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays with proposed amend- ment: AMENDMENT PROPOSED. Section 1, line 2, strike out the words "and directed," and insert between ' 'authorized and empowered, "the word' 'and.'' The amendment was adopted, and The hill as amended, passed by yeas and nays, as follows:-
