1872 OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES. 1401
To the Church Home and Infirmary, three thousand dol-
lars.
To the House of the ( Friendless Children in Easton, Tal-
bot county, two thousand dollars.
To the German Orphan Asylum, four hundred dollars.
Under bead Militia, in line 6, amend by adding after the
"word "dollars," "to be expended under the supervision of
the Governor, in accordance with the provisions of the Act
of 1870."
Under head Militia, in line 8, strike out "one hundred"
, and insert "sixty."
Under head Contingent Fund, after word "dollars," in line
15, insert "to be expended under the direction and control
of Augustus Gassaway, Secretary of the Senate.
Same heading, in line 18, strike out the words '-'one thou-
sand" and insert the words "five hundred. '
Under head Miscellaneous, line 5, strike out the word "six
hundred," and insert in lieu thereof "five hundred and
forty,"
After the word "dollars," in line 22, strike out to the
end of the section.
Page 3, line 12, strike out "ten," and insert "five."
After the word "for," in line 12, strike out to word ''to,"
in line 14.
Line 15, page 3, strike out "ten," and insert five."
Line (7, page 3, strike out "ten," and insert "five."
Which were severally read.
On motion of Mr. Stone,
The proposed Senate amendments were non-concurred in.
Mr. Stone submitted the following message:
BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,
April 1, 1872.
Gentlemen of the Senate:
The House of Delegates has non-concurred in the Senate
amendments to House Bills Printed Nos. 149 and 150,
and respectfully ask a Committee of Conference on the dis-
agreeing votes of the two houses. We have appointed on the
the part of the House, Messrs- Stone, Streett and Hardcastle.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the Senate.
Mr. Stone, Chairman of the Committee on the Judiciary,
