On motion of Mr. Griswold,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
report a bill, entitled an Act to add additional sections to the
Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Crimes and Punish-
ments," which shall be sections 210, 211, 212, 213, and 214,
of said Article .
On motion of Mr. Phillips,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill, entitled an Act to make valid the sale and
transfer by the Union Bridge Turnpike Company to the
Liberty, Johnsville and Pipe Creek Turnpike Road Company,
of all that part of the road of said Union Bridge Turnpike
Company from Union Bridge, Carroll County, to Daniel
Wolf's, in Frederick County.
'On motion of Mr. Wilmer,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Chesapeake
Bay and its Tributaries to introduce a bill to repeal sections
6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13, of Article LXXI , of the Code
of Public General Laws of the State of Maryland, entitled
"Oysters."
On motion of Mr. Bowie,
Leave was granted to the Prince George's delegation to
introduce a bill authorizing the County Commissioners of
Prince George's County, to have built a bridge over the
stream between the villages of Bladensburg and Hyattsville.
On motion of Mr. Turner,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
report a bill to repeal section 2 of chapter 187 of the Acts of
1868, incorporating the Broadway and Locust Point Steam
Ferry Company, of Maryland, and to repeal a supplement
thereto, passed 1870, chapter 436, so far as said Acts confer \
upon said ferry company the right to use as a landing the
wharf known as the "County Wharf," and to provide for the
extension and improvement of said wharf as a free landing
for the fruits, vegetables, and other agricultural productions
of the State brought to the City of Baltimore for sale or
otherwise.
On motion by Mr. Henkle,
Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel delegation (to re-
port a bill authorizing the County Commissioners of Anne
Arundel County, if in their judgment expedient, to divide
the election districts of said county into election precincts,
i and to designate the places for holding elections in the game.
