Mr. Riley presented the petition of George France, and'' one hundred and thirty other citizens of Harford and Balti- more counties, asking the passage of a law compelling the Baltimore and Harford Turnpike Company to place their road. in a good and sale condition. Which was read, and referred to the Select Committee on- that subject. Mr. Phillips presented the petition of Henry Baker, Presi- dent, and others, of Frederick county, to make valid a sale of Turnpike Road in said county. Which was read, and referred to the Committee on Corpor- ations. Mr. Cooper presented the petition of Ann E. Zachary widow of William Zachary, a soldier of 1812, asking lor a pension. Which was read, and referred to the Committee on Pen- sions. Mr. Miller presented the petition of Chas. E. Worthing- ton, Thos. Dixon", and others, of Frederick county, asking a. pension for Ann M. Magus. Which was read, and referred to the Committee on Pen-sions us. Mr. Scott presented the petition of ninety citizens of Prince- George's county praying the Legislature to pass a law au- thorizing the County Commissioners to build a bridge over the" Eastern Branch at the north end of Bladensburg. Which was read, and referred to the Prince George's dele- gation. Mr. Henkle presented a petition from Rachel Medairy widow of John Medairy, for restoration and correction. Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen- sions. Mr. Travel's presented the petition of Nathaniel Watts, a soldier of the war of 1812, asking for a pension.
