The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following mes-
sage:
BY THE SENATE,
April 1, 1872.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:
We respectfully ask the appointment of a Joint Committee
of Conference, to consist of two on the part of the Senate
and three on the part of the House, to consider and report
upon the amendments, as proposed and adopted by your hon-
orable Body, to the bill entitled an Act to provide tor the in-
troduction of a supply of water into the town of Hagers-
town by means of water-works, appointing a Water Board
for that purpose, and authorizing the Mayor and City Coun-
cil of Hagerstown to provide means for the construction of
said works.
We have appointed on the part of the Senate Messrs?. Clagett, Timmons and Crawford.
