NEGATIVE—None. Said bill was then sent to the Senate. Mr. Stone submitted The following message : BY THE HOUSE or DELEGATES, January 23rd, 1872. Gentlemen of the Senate: We respectfully propose, with your concurrence, that a -Joint Committee of one on the part of the Senate and two on the part of the House be appointed to examine and cancel all coupons of the bonds of the State of Maryland that have al- ready been paid, and are now in the hands of the Treasurer. We have appointed on the part of the House, Messrs. Stone and Duvall. By order, MILTON Y. KIDD, Chief Clerk. Which was read, assented to, and sent to the Senate. Mr. Streett submitted the following message : |
