Also, delivered
The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 872 of Article
IV., of the Public Local Laws relating to the City of Balti-
more, entitled an Act to authorize the extension of the lim-
its of direct taxation within the City of Baltimore be, and
the same is hereby, repealed, and the following re-enacted in
lieu thereof,
Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."
Which was read a first time and referred to a Select Com-
mittee, consisting of Messrs, dark, of Balto. City, McCol-
gan and Harig.
Also, delivered
The bill entitled an Act to authorize the sale to the Balti-
more and Drum Point Railroad Company of the Stale's in-
terest in the Annapolis and Elkridge Railroad Company,
Endorsed, (< Passed by yeas and nays."
Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Corporations.
Also, delivered
The bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of the An-
napolis and Elkridge Railroad Company, by authorizing the
said Company to extend its road to the harbor of the City of
Annapolis, to borrow money upon a mortgage of its property
and franchises, and regulating the number and election of
the Directors of the said Company,
Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."
Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.
Also, delivered the following message:
BY THE SENATE,
March 29, 1872.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:
We have received your message asking for a Committee
of Conference, to re-consider the unfavorable report of a Select Committee of a bill to prohibit stock running at large in
Reisterstown, and agree thereto.
We have appointed on the part of the Senate, Messrs.
Downs, Steiner and Compton.
