1166 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 27, The bill entitled an Act making further appropriations for the support of the Government for the year ending January the first, 1873. Mr. Griswold moved a reconsideration of the vote by which the amendment submitted by Mr. Streett, this morn- ing, to line 1, folio 4, after the word "Company," &c., be reconsidered. Pending which, On motion of Mr. Streett, The motion to reconsider the vote, was laid on the table. Mr. L. A. 3. Lamotte submitted the following amend- ment: AMENDMENT PROPOSED. Strike out in line 3, page 6, under head of "Inspections," the words "seven thousand," and insert in lieu thereof the words "three thousand five hundred." Which was rejected. The bill, as amended, Was then read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a, third reading. The biIl entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact section 20, of an Act passed at the present Session of the General As- sembly of Maryland, entitled an Act to regulate the Inspec- tion of Tobacco, Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follows:
