Also, (the rules being suspended,) reported favorably
The Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of
money to purchase additional furniture for the use of the
Governor's Mansion, and to appoint a Committee to super-
intend the same.
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Sparrow, Chairman of a Select Committee, (the rules
being suspended,) reported favorably
The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Orphans'
Court of Calvert county, to have the dilapidated and worn
records in the office of the Register of Wills in said county
transcribed.
Which was read a second time.
The bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act entitled an Act
to repeal the Act of 1867, chapter 385, which provides for
paying pensions to the Maryland, soldiers of the war of 1812,
and to the widows of deceased soldiers of that war, and also
to repeal the Act of 1868, chapter 432, providing pensions
for certain soldiers and widows of soldiers of the war of 1812,
to provide in lieu thereof for allowing pensions to certain sol-
diers and widows of soldiers of the war of 1812,
Was considered, and read a first time.
Mr. Langrell, chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
The Senate bill entitled an Act to protect fish in the waters
of Nanticoke River, from non-residents.
Said bill being upon a third reading,
The bill was then read a third time and passed by yeas
and nays, as follows :
