BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,
March 26, 1872.
Gentlemen of the Senate :
<. We fbave received your message, (as per record on bill re-
-turned) requesting the House of Delegates to recede from its
amendments upon the bill entitled an Act to transfer the
sum of money appropriated by chapter 383, section 1, Acts
-of the General Assembly of 1870, to the Elkton and Massey's
.Railroad Company, from said Company to the Middletown
and, Elkton Railroad. Company, and beg leave to decline
granting the request. We propose, respectfully, the appoint-
ment of a committee of conference theron, to consist of two
on the part of the Senate and three on the part of the House.
We have appointed, on the part of the House, Mesers .Penington, Groome and Wilmer.
