So the motion prevailed, and the further consideration of the bill was indefinitely postponed. The Secretary of the Senate returned The bill entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled an Act to incorporate the Potomac Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore, passed January Session, 1867, chapter 424. Endorsed "Passed by yeas and nays with proposed amend- ment." AMENDMENT PROPOSED. Strike out the fifth and sixth sections. On motion of Mr. Foster, The Senate amendment was concurred in, and the bill,,as Amended, was then passed by yeas and nays, as follows : |
